Robert Finkel – Why Private Equity and Forbidden Roots Make for an Intoxicating Brew
Robert Finkel has had an over 30 year career in investing and provided capital and support to over 40 companies through equity and investment funds under the firm Prism. He wrote the book The Masters of Private Equity and Venture Capital featuring 10 of the US’s most notable venture capital and private equity investor.
When I met Robert he was experimenting late into the night with his botanic craft brew at home, and in 2014 he launched a botanic craft brew under the name Forbidden Root in Chicago, and opened restaurant/brewery operations in Chicago and Columbus OH. Now assuming the title of Rootmaster, he combines this with his investment career.
Rachel Zalta – Behind the Scenes of Behavioral Analysis
Rachel Zalta is Global Lead at the Creative Shop @ Taboola in Tel Aviv. She originally studied psychology, and has a strong interest in online trends and persuasion and is an expert on online behavior. She was born in New York City and moved to Israel when she was 6 years old.
Rachel was one of the first guests that I approached for our Inspiring Israeli Women in Tech Series and is a perfect person to finish our third series. I was quickly fascinated by her blend of psychology and technology and how she was a fount of insights into how we behave online and what triggers certain behaviors.
Jenny Segal – Speaking and Motivating With Images
Jenny Segal is a motivational speaker, author and photographer, with a focus on building resilience, improving communication and building better workplace cultures. She had a long career in the investment industry culminating in senior leadership roles in institutional business development and distribution areas and is currently a Senior Investment Officer with Nesta among other positions, including an ambassador role with the Diversity Project.
