Rachel Green – Lessons from the Skills Workshop of Life

Rachel Green is Director of Institutional Sales at Nuveen. She started her career in risk management and moved into a sales role in 2014.  She has been a prominent voice in the City of London on issues of diversity and inclusion and is the founder of The Skills Workshop, to help women and young people understand their career options, share stories and to identify with others as well to create a sense of belonging.

Rachel Fabian-Edelman – Starting Strong and the Benefits of Positive Reinforcement

Rachel Fabian-Edelman is a community manager at Citi Accelerator & Venture Investments, which is responsible for investment in a range of start-ups. She started her career in MobilEye, a mobility company and one of Israel’s most successful start-ups, that is now a part of Intel. She has a passion for connecting and amplifying the voices of women in the profession, and has started a local women’s network, and is also committed to animal rights.

Our conversation traces Rachel’s career path through a successful start-up, how she grew through stretch assignments and with the help of management who spotted talent and nurtured it.

Terry Mellish – From the Wrong Side of the Tracks to the Right Side of History

Terry Mellish just recently retired from a head of international public policy diversity and inclusion role at Natixis Investment Managers, capping a career in the city that spanned over 50 years. He is continuing in an active role in the industry as an ambassador of The Diversity Project where he heads up the ability work stream, and is a frequent participant in industry networking events and diversity and inclusion themed initiatives.

We discuss a legendary career that has spanned many decades of change in the city and how his own social-mobility sparked an interest in furthering this and other workstreams with The Diversity Project.

David Hickey – Responsible Investing; Maximum Reach

David Hickey is portfolio manager and responsible investment lead at the Lothian Pension Fund, a public pension fund based in Edinburgh. He previously was a fund manager for a European Small Cap Equity team among other investment related roles.
